caitlin & nick’s D.C. engagement session

Last week, my future bride and groom, Caitlin and Nick, graciously flew me to Washington, D.C. to shoot their engagement pictures. Since they are currently living there, it was only fitting this session happened there! Now, before I met up with them, this session was already a real treat for me. Not only was it somewhere new, but it was our nation’s capital. I mean, that’s just so cool. But then I met up with the couple, and before I even started shooting, I knew it would be a good day. The camera loves these two. I don’t think I could have taken a bad picture of them, no matter what the background. Now adding the Washington Monument and the Capitol building in the background – yep, just made it even better. We fortunately had a gorgeous day for shooting, even after all the rain, and I could not be more pleased with this session. I couldn’t even pick out a favorite image. They are just adorable. Now I’m looking forward to the beautiful wedding in July!!
