It was so fun meeting baby Everett after photographing his mom and dad a few times! I am so excited for Mike + Chrissy for their new little addition to the family! Everett is so incredibly handsome, with such big boy features! Doesn’t he look like a little man? Usually for newborn sessions, I prefer for the baby to be sleeping, but I just happened to come during his awake time of day, so no sleeping baby for me! But honestly, it didn’t even matter – Everett was on his best behavior for me and I could not have been happier that he was awake. We were finishing the session with a few family pictures outside when the little stinker decided to fall asleep then – so of course we had to do a few ‘sleeping’ pictures.
I also had the privilege of traveling over to Chrissy’s mom’s house for a 5 generation picture. Yes, FIVE generations. Everett has a great-great-grandmother – how amazing is that!! So much wisdom and love in that bunch. I’m so thankful I was able to capture these precious memories for them.
