KEVIN + AMBER {married!}

When I met Kevin & Amber last February to do their engagement shoot, I didn’t have as much time to get to know them as I do most couples during that time.  I think we had THE coldest day all year in Cincinnati that day, so the shoot lasted a whole 10 minutes.  But they were so fantastic to shoot, I didn’t need any more time than that!  So I knew their wedding day would be spectacular if I had more than 10 minutes with them.  I had almost an hour, and the amount I shot of the two of them was absurd.  I really just couldn’t stop.  Seriously.  The lighting was just too pretty, as was the couple.  And I already knew I loved Amber, but when she said, “Hey.  Could we do a shot where we are sitting on the ground with our feet out?” my heart melted.  Yes, melted.  It’s not everyday that you have a bride not only to get their dress a little dirty on the bottom, but be willing to SIT on the ground in November.  So yeah, we had a little fun with them.

And then came the reception.  Normally the way the contract works out, I’m gone before the end of the reception.  There are only so many dancing photos you can get (and want!), but the way K&A’s day worked out, I stayed till the very end.  And was that a sight to see! Man, do people have fun (and no inhibitions) by the end of receptions!  There were many great shots of fun partying taken by Emily and I, so I thought I’d share a few! Thank you, Kevin & Amber, for choosing me to be a part of your fantastic, gorgeous, perfect-end-to-my-year wedding!! And congrats on your new life together!

Big thanks to Emily Price for helping me end the year right 🙂

Check out more favorites in the SLIDESHOW.

Sometimes the dad’s first look can be just as fun….

One of my fave shots on the left, Amber walking to see her groom.  Nerves & excitement were a part of this quiet moment.

Isn’t she just adorable??

“Can we sit on the ground?” Can I hug you??

Props to my assistant Emily on this next shot…

Bridesmaids, anyone? 🙂

It’s rare you get to do sunset pictures before the ceremony, but that’s what happens in a late November wedding!

The couple did a mini-roast of each of their wedding party as they were introduced into the reception. It was hilarious!

Love the reactions to the garter toss…

Yes, the bride is doing the gator…
