You know how people will say, “I hope I don’t break your camera!” when you take their picture? Well, this session proved that it’s not the subject that does it. At the very end of this session, my camera stopped working!! And it most definitely wasn’t the subject that caused it. So while my baby my camera is on it’s way to Nikon for repairs, I got to spend some time editing this cute little family. Brian and I go way back, way way back. And now to see him as a dad… I just love where life takes us. I mean, I know I’m on baby #4, but there is something still so special about seeing good friends with their first child – the newness, the excitement, the exhaustion, the unfamiliarity and uncertainty, but certainty of their love – it’s just a beautiful image! And to see a dad with his new baby girl…man, that will tug at your heart strings. Little Miss Paisley is precious beyond words, and is even sporting her Aunt Courtney’s red hair. She didn’t want to sleep for the session unless held, so she spent pretty much the whole session with mom or dad. I am excited to watch this little girl grow up with some amazing parents on her side!
Ok, and I’m not going to lie…seeing all the cute little headbands and girly things make me want another baby girl. But, baby TBD, I will still love you if you’re a boy!! 🙂
Had to include the furrowed brow. It’s a face all babies make and is a part of their daily lives (cry, eat, sleep, poop, repeat). Gotta remember every detail!!
