Too bad Megan is due only 2 weeks after me, because this is going to be one gorgeous newborn that I will NOT get to photograph. I met Megan + Sinit last week for their gorgeous maternity session and I was just eeking with delight over everything that night! The couple was gorgeous, the light was stunning, and the fall colors were vibrant! And I love a good prop, which Megan had plenty of. Typically, I don’t bring props, because if I supply it, it can feel forced because it’s not special to you and you may not be a prop person. But I L.O.V.E. when clients bring props, especially ones as unique and special as the ones Megan had. We used Megan’s stepdad’s truck, her late-father’s banjo, her grandfather’s rocking chair (which will also go in the nursery), and a quilt made by her grandmother for the baby. Ack! Totally in love with all of it. I seriously could have shot all night, but thankfully for the couple, I did not. I am so excited to hear about the arrival of their baby boy and can’t wait to meet him to photograph all his inevitable gorgeousness in the future!!
