THE FAUGHT {family} // Louisville Family Photography

Oh how I love this family!!!  I first met Heather when I still had my deer-in-the-headlights look after just having had Luke and moving to Louisville.  We met while nursing our babies (Jude is just a few weeks older than Luke) at church, and it’s been a quick bond ever since!!  We are so much alike and I am so thankful to have this beautiful woman of God (and all her men) in my life!  They are now in our small group, so I get to share them with Matthew and we couldn’t be more blessed by their friendship.  Of course I jumped at the opportunity to photograph their gorgeous (and uber hip) family.  Unfortunately for all of us, the night we chose was FA-REEZING cold.  The wind was biting – there’s no better way to describe it.  I think total shooting time was about 20 min, and trying to round up 4 boys in that short amount of time is a chore, but their boys performed beautifully.  I couldn’t believe how little complaining I heard, when I knew their fingers, toes, noses, etc. were all just about frost-bitten.  We wanted to do some on the Big Four Bridge too (and I was excited cause I knew it would be empty because of the cold), but by the time we made our way up there, all of us were so frozen,  we shot for about 5 minutes, then headed back down.  So, despite the cold, we still ended up with some sweet stuff, but I seriously can’t wait to shoot them when it’s warm!

I thought this storage container was so cool and perfect for a family full of boys!!

Where ya goin’, Jude??

I just love Silas’ face here – I’m feeling the brotherly love!

Some handsome men…

The tears are a result from the wind and cold, not crying! I told you it was cold!!

Oh, sweet Jude.  We couldn’t get him to smile in the cold, but does it really matter? Look at that face!! Oh my….I just want to take him home.

Oh, Heather, you are so gorgeous…

I have a feeling this is a more natural look for this crew…
