JAIMEE + DARYL {maternity}

I’ve known Jaimee a few years, so when I found out she was expecting her first child, I was thrilled!  And then to get to photograph her again = even more thrilled.  This was the first time I was meeting her husband, who she married just earlier in the year.  They didn’t have a wedding when they got married, so they decided to make their maternity session super glamorous to make up for no wedding photos.  I guess I can oblige to that (wink wink).  Jaimee’s friends were also throwing her a baby shower and she wanted me to come document it, so we were able to set up a quick 20 min session (in the cold, I might add) right before the shower.  And after entering the shower, I knew why she wanted it photographed.  Wow, she has some amazing friends! This shower was Pinterest-worthy for sure.  There were chicken and waffles, a crepe bar, an omelette bar, pastries, hot chocolate bar, sandwiches….you name it, it was there.  It was so gorgeous and well planned out, and a great way to honor a beautiful woman and her new addition.
