NIKKI + MICHAEL | Married!!

I’m so excited to FINALLY be posting this gorgeous wedding I shot earlier this fall.  For as crazy as this year was for weddings, I was so fortunate to have the most amazing couples and weddings, and this one was no different and a lovely way to end my 2020 year!!  I really wanted to post this wedding sooner, but better late than never, right?? Nikki and Michael had a BEAUTIFUL wedding in Louisville, KY at the St. Michael Orthodox Church and the Galt House.  Nikki was stunning.  Absolutely stunning.  Her dress, her veil, her shoes, her flowers…all of it.  Perfection.  And Michael was dashing, dressed to the nines.  Their wedding carried a Mario theme, which was definitely a first for me. Early in their relationship, the couple bonded over their love of Nintendo and Mario and it was really sweet to see them incorporate it into their day in many forms!  They truly had a lot of fun with this theme!  It’s always so fun getting to see couples’ personalities come out in the details of their wedding.

I really could post so many more photos from this wedding, but I’m already pretty much maxed out as it is, so this will have to do.  I have to thank my beautiful assistant, Emily Price, for helping me shoot this day!!

It’s probably because I’m a mama myself, but it gets me every time when a mom gets to see her son on his wedding day….

And then there’s the dad first look…..always a tear jerker…

Nikki’s Mom and Sister were her Maids of Honor.  How sweet is that???

If I had the time, I would photograph her all. day. long. 

Such a unique ceremony! I have never seen a Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony before and it had some very cool elements!
