On January 8, I got to be a part of a very special day! My only cousin (yes, that’s right- I only have ONE!) got married. Ed and Lori had their ceremony at Faith Bible Church and the reception at the Vintage Club. It was a small, intimate affair, which was a nice change of pace from all the big weddings I’ve been doing. It was an absolutely gorgeous day – between the bride, the snow, the lights, etc. Lori even braved the elements by heading outside with no coat to do a few pictures with Ed – don’t let the pictures fool you – it was FREEZING out. Even I was miserably cold, and I have my own personal heater (the baby, that is)!
It was such an honor to be a part of their day. Congrats, Lori and Ed!! I’m so happy for the two of you!
They did a private foot washing ceremony prior to the wedding. It was beautiful….
P.S. You won’t be seeing any weddings posted on my blog for quite some time. This was the last wedding before baby Robbins arrives!! Then I’ll be taking some time off from weddings to get adjusted to our new family of four. My first wedding back will be in June! But please keep checking back – I am continuing to shoot portraits and other various projects.
