baby boone is due soon!

Ok, totally didn’t mean to rhyme on that.

But anyways, to say I’m a little excited about this little boy entering the world would be an understatement. Matthew’s sister and her husband are due in the beginning of October with nephew #11 for us (yes, that’s right – 11 nieces and nephews!! Seth and Emma are lucky ducks.) Unfortunately, they are currently stationed out in Oklahoma with the army, so I will not be around to photograph the birth (boo!) or even the newborn pictures (bigger boo!!). But hopefully over Thanksgiving, we’ll get to meet the newest member of our family!

Belinda and Mike, however, were in town a couple weeks ago for Belinda’s rockin’ baby shower (thrown by yours truly and Jen – Matthew’s other sister). We had a blast and Belinda cleaned house with all the sweet baby stuff. We even managed to sneak away later for a few preggo pictures. This is going to be one good looking little boy – just look at his parents! We can’t wait to meet you, baby boy Boone!!

The delicious cupcakes were homemade (icing and all!) by miss Jennifer Skoog, and we both decorated.  Mmmmm….I could eat them for days (and I think I did)

The diaper cake was cuter, but I didn’t get a picture of it before the shower.  By the end, the kids had gotten their hands on it, and it was a little whopper-jawed.  So I only took an above view shot so you can’t see how badly dismantled it was.
