a puritan wedding prayer

I just returned from photographing a beautiful wedding of a dear friend down in Chattanooga, TN.  While you may be expecting to see some pictures from that wedding, you won’t for a little bit (I’m not THAT fast!).  But I did want to share a prayer that the minister prayed during their ceremony.  It’s a Puritan wedding prayer, and it was gorgeous!  I’m very glad I stopped taking pictures at that moment and just listened.  So often I get caught up in my “job” during the ceremony, that I miss what is actually happening.  Going to weddings is a sweet reminder of the promise that Matthew and I made to each other, and the promise that Jesus made with his bride, the church.  Here it is!
