After their engagement session, I knew that Matt and Melissa’s wedding was going to be fantastic. Not only are they super adorable together, but they really know how to work it in front of a camera! Something every photographer just dreams about! Melissa was so elegant and beautiful, and Matt couldn’t stop smiling while watching his bride. It never gets old watching a couple on their wedding day. Sometimes I question whether I should stick to portraits and give up the wedding gig (after all, it does take up my weekends and it’s a lot of work after the event), but with couples like Matt and Melissa, it confirms for me that I’m in the right place. I just love what I do! The wedding was held at St. Peter in Chains, with the reception at The Gardens in Fort Wright. It was an absolutely beautiful fall day and a really fun party!
Thank you, Matt and Melissa, for allowing me to photograph your day! And a big thanks to Emily Price for helping me out that day – it’s always fun shooting with you!!
Check out these shoes! Love!!
Always love the first interaction between a bride and groom, especially when there are tears involved…
One of my favorites from the day…
The flower girls were just too much cuteness to handle…

Side note: I will continue to shoot weddings until no one wants to hire me anymore! I absolutely LOVE shooting weddings, and while yes, they are a lot of work, it’s time well spent. But that’s also why I only take on so many per year (max 15)- I want every wedding to be special to me, and not just another job I go to on the weekends. So no rumors, please! Ha!
And as always, I love comments!
