December 4th, 2010 was a very cold day. Ok, cold doesn’t describe it – frigid is more like it! But that didn’t matter for Ben & Becky!! They were married at the Springdale Nazarene Church with the reception at Tori’s Station in Fairfield. I absolutely loved Becky’s style and choice of colors – she chose purple and yellow, instead of the traditional red for a Christmas wedding. It was such an unexpected surprise! She was absolutely gorgeous and such a trooper – she let me take her outside for a few pictures. No, the blowing snow is NOT photoshopped in – that’s just how tough she was! But man, am I glad I was able to get everyone outside for a few shots!
They kept things traditional and didn’t see each other until the ceremony, which was extra romantic. Both were super laid back and easy going – what a blessing it was to photograph this couple!
Ben & Becky – thank you so much for sharing your day with me and for letting me drag you out into the cold – may God bless your marriage! And have a very merry first Christmas together! And another thanks to Emily Price for helping me out!

Isn’t she stunning?
I love that one of the first things grooms do after the ceremony is play with the ring on their finger – I just had to get Ben messing with his…
One of my personal favorites from the day….
Ok, I know these shots look almost identical (I promise they’re different), but I couldn’t decide if I liked it in color or b/w better – so just deal with it!
The ring bearer thought that he was going to dress up like a bear for the wedding so the bride got him this hat. Too cute!
Great work Leah!! You managed to make the best of your surroundings on a cold day for sure!! I love how classic & elegant the pictures are…and of course Becky is beautiful!!
