We love our sweet Emma Jo. She is so precious and so wonderful, but she has some sass. We were all outside playing the other day, and I thought, Emma looks cute today and it’s a beautiful day, let me take some pictures of her. Well, apparently she wasn’t having it. She began one of her typical tantrums because I was holding a camera instead of her. But instead of putting down my camera, I decided to put it to work and document the little diva in her fit. Before you start judging me on doing this, note two things: 1) Ok, isn’t she kind of adorable when she’s mad? Wouldn’t you want that documented? I mean, her tantrums usually (note -not ALWAYS) make me laugh because they are pretty dramatic and unnecessary. Note the hand to the face (sometimes, she uses both hands in this way) and the lip pout. 2) This series of pictures took place in about a minute. Check out the last picture – totally calm. This tantrum was a show, nothing more. I knew that, and refused to give in. Just another crisis resolved in a day in the life of Emma Jo!
I’ve decided to post these just because I think her tantrums are just too cute and too funny not to share…..
Leah, love it. I would have done the same thing. Those “fake” tantrums are hilarious. And I especially love the hand to cheek part-ha! Broadway, here she comes!!
She cracks me up. And I can verify that the tantrum was completely for show and only lasted about a minute. She didn’t get what she wanted, so she stopped. Our little drama queen…
