You may remember Nick and Cait from their engagement session in Washington, D.C. Yeah, they’re THAT couple that flew me there. So they already had that going for them. But then I show up to their wedding, which was nothing short of amazing. First off, the camera absolutely loves them. Second of all, they had absolutely gorgeous details, beautiful and unique flowers, and fun locations. We started off downtown, and to stay out of the heat, managed to do most of the photos under the air conditioning of the Contemporary Arts Center. Then we headed to Haps in Hyde Park, where the wedding could relax with a quick beer, then onto Ault Park where the ceremony and reception location took place. The weather was beautiful for their outdoor ceremony, although a little hot. But the heat seriously did not affect the party one bit – it was wild and crazy! I knew that Nick and Cait were my kind of people as well when I learned that instead of a cake, they were having a Graeter’s ice cream bar. Yep, my fave.
