This couple is a Miami merger, hence the Oxford backdrop. We had a gorgeous and cool September day to do these pictures, and I was so thankful to spend time with Chelsea and Taylor in order to get to know them before their big day next summer. Our only concern during the entire shoot was the mass of college students, most of whom looked like they could still be in high school. Am I that old now? Sheesh – I thought I could still pass as a student. Guess not. Anyways, I always enjoy shooting in Oxford and uptown. The railroad, though, was definitely a first for me in this area of town!
Oh, and during the shoot, I came up with a tagline for my business: “Leah Robbins Photography: a lover of crappy walls.” Ok, so we’ll drop “crappy” and come up with “distressed” – sounds nicer, doesn’t it? So if you don’t like rustic, old, graffiti-ed walls, then don’t hire me 🙂
Chelsea and Taylor – I look forward to your wedding next summer!! And thanks for putting up with my distressed walls!! 🙂
This was my favorite series of photos… 🙂
Crappy, I mean, Distressed wall #1….
This is probably strange, but my favorite part of the wall is the torn paper stuck to it.
No. 2….. I’m just so attracted to them! I can’t walk by without stopping first….
