Ben & Kristen’s wedding is going to take place next June in Columbus, IN, so when it came down to choosing a location for their engagement pictures, we had a few options between IN, OH, and KY. The couple decided to come down to my turf in Louisville and do the session here, which meant I needed to find a place to shoot around here! Thankfully, I discovered this amazing farm that is right up my ally. I totally fell in love with this location and even got to do another shoot there the same weekend (those pictures to come later). Old fences, barns, wildflowers – yep, my cup of tea. It was awesome getting to know Ben & Kristen as well – I had met them briefly a couple years ago when I shot Ben’s sister’s wedding in Indiana as well, but with that day being all about the bride and groom, I didn’t spend much time with this couple. The weather threatened to rain on us, but it held off and we had awesome gray skies for our shoot. Thank you, Ben & Kristen, for making the drive to me!! Can’t wait for the wedding next summer!
