Seth and I got some alone time to hit up a few stores the other day for some new clothes for spring. The warmer weather has shown me just how much my kids are growing – they can’t fit into any clothes from last year! So, with one kid in tow, we went on a mommy-Seth date. At our first stop, Seth found this hat – the fedora. EVERY time I’ve tried to get him to just try one on at a store (for fun, not to buy), he always refused, but would occasionally oblige, only to take it off immediately. I don’t know what it was about this hat (maybe the neon green stripe – he LOVES green), but he instantly put it on without me having to ask and wanted me to buy it. I’m not typically the mom who wants to just randomly buy hats, but he just looked way too good (and happy) in it for me to pass it up. And since I can’t resist the urge to buy Emma a seasonal hat every year, I thought we’d give this one a whirl. So of course today, when I got him dressed, he insisted on wearing the hat. And you know what happens when my kids are hamming it up and I think they look ridiculously handsome (or beautiful) – my camera comes out. So here’s 5 minutes of shooting with my boy in his Frank Sinatra hat. I just love this kid.
