BLAKE {one year session}

It has been such a joy seeing this little man grow up the past year. I just love when clients opt for the one-year package because it gives me the opportunity to watch some significant changes in this little man’s life and be there to document it for the parents!! So much happens in a year in a baby’s life, and I just love seeing their budding personalities sprout up! I’m sad that this is our last session (at least for now I hope!!), but what a privilege it has been! Blake has been a true gem to photograph, with all his spunk, personality, big baby blue eyes, and crazy cool hair. He really showed his spunk at this last session, obviously with a different agenda than us. Little man was ready to crawl around and not be restrained for a family photo. It was super hard to get him to sit still with mom and dad for a photo, but I told Ashley it doesn’t matter! That’s what this age is and that’s what I’m getting to document! They can always look back and see just the life and curiosity and all-out-boyness (ok, so that’s not a phrase, or a word, but you know exactly what I mean) this little boy possesses. Why would we want to hold that back for a photo of him sitting still, not being who he really is? I was very thankful for a quick camera and lenses in this session in order to catch him, and he definitely had me working, but I loved every minute of it.
