It’s always a special treat to photograph good friends. I just love this family and everything about them. Leah (no – not a typo. See? We were destined to be good friends) and I, go way back. Well, our families go way back. She is a part of the Jones clan, our oldest and dearest friends in the book. We always joke that we really had no choice to be good friends because of our parents’ friendship, and so now the same will be for our kids. They will absolutely be good friends and they will love it! Shoot, we’d even be okay with an arranged marriage in there somewhere, whether it’s one of the Wyckoff girls and my boys or a Munoz boy and Emma – I’m fine with any combination, really.
This was my first chance getting to photograph this clan since Norah joined the picture about 8 months ago. Their girls are just like Seth and Emma Jo – 15 months apart. Great for their relationship, not always so great for picture taking! Audrey is at the perfect age to not really give a hoot about the camera. Being two, she was all about what she wanted to do and not what WE wanted her to do. I’d like to say it gets better with age, but at three, Emma is the same way! Ahh, girls. I think they do that, though, so that capturing a great smile is a huge reward. We wouldn’t appreciate a great smile if she gave them away so flippantly, now would we? 🙂 These girls are just cute as buttons and I cannot wait to watch them grow!! Scotty and Leah, you make some pretty babes!!
I wish I could share how we got the girls to smile here, but for Scotty’s dignity, I’ll keep that quiet. Let’s just say it involved some pretty cool moves from a certain Ballerina that rhymes with Bangelina…. (ok, so that wasn’t quiet – sorry, Scotty!)
Doesn’t she have the most gorgeous lips?? Ugh…color me jealous!
Baby blues!!! Love!
