ANDREW {newborn session}

I am so thankful it worked out that I could come up to Cincinnati just a few days after sweet little Andrew was born! He was probably the freshest newborn I ever photographed. And of all the newborns I’ve shot in the past year, he was by far the most cooperative. That might have something to do with the fact that he’s the third baby and used to noise and commotion, so having a photographer as chatty as me was no big deal to him. I think that’s part of my problem during newborn sessions – I love talking to the parents about their baby as much as I do shooting them! I guess the babies typically don’t like that. Anywho, my chatter didn’t bother Andrew, who behaved beautifully for me. Lita is one of my dear dear friends, and it was such a blessing to be able to photograph her gorgeous family. Her oldest, Grace, is just a couple months younger than Seth and his first crush. I am totally on board with him wanting to marry Grace. In fact, I’m totally on board with an arranged marriage to make that happen. This was just a fun, laid-back session, getting to see my good friend and take some pictures on top of it. And with Andrew’s gender being a surprise, it’s now fun to know that we share the two boys and a girl family dynamic! Granted, I’m about to mess that up in 4 months, but it’s still fun. I’m so incredibly happy for Lita & Ryan and can’t wait to watch little Andrew grow!!

I just love this picture!! Noah kept smiling like a pirate, and when Lita told him to stop, not only did he keep doing it, but Grace joined in. This is so much more typical of life with 3 kids than any other posey stuff, which is why I love it!!
