What a gorgeous September day for a wedding! Scott & Jenna got married recently at St. Ignatius Church in Cincinnati, with the beautiful reception at the Krohn Conservatory. Scott has two children from a previous marriage, who got to be the maid of honor and best man, which I thought was super special. The relationship of Jenna with these two kids was very sweet to see and I’m so glad they got to play such a big part in the day. The ceremony and reception were divided up by a few hours, giving me ample time for pictures, which is not always a good thing. Give me that much time and I will shoot that whole time. With that much shooting, I start getting crossed eyed looks from the wedding party 🙂 Sometimes I forget what it’s like to be on the other side of the camera and that’s a hard place to be! But this wedding party did amazing and worked well with me and my eccentric-ness 🙂 Scott had mentioned before the wedding that he wanted pictures done in an urban or industrial setting. I could have hugged him right then and there. My photographer friend, Nathan, graciously informed me of this spot that we headed to first, and it was ah-mazing. I could have shot there all day (and just about did). If I wasn’t in Louisville now, that might have become my new favorite spot. We then headed to Eden Park for a few extra shots before heading to the reception. It was just a gorgeous day and everyone was so happy, relaxed and joyful. What a blessing to be a part of!
Big thanks to Emily Price for rockin’ another wedding with me! The next time we’ll be shooting together, we’ll both be leaving new babes at home. This should be interesting! 🙂

How else are a father and son supposed to pose for a picture? I probably think this photo is appropriate and indicative of their relationship 🙂
The wind kept getting the best of Jenna’s veil, and I happened to click at the right moment to see it in action. Needless to say, we had to retire the veil for the rest of the portraits.
Scott, you have some beautiful kids…inside and out.
Umm, we were at Krohn conservatory. Why not take a few flower pics?
The kids gave the toasts. Wow. These are some great kids!
Thank you, Scott & Jenna for allowing me to be a part of your amazing day!! I wish you the best in your new marriage together!
Beautiful!
