You cannot take a bad photo of these two. Seriously. Not only are Sarah and Jake both stunningly gorgeous, but they are so madly in love that they made my job so easy. I barely had to give them any direction, and really, the only direction I needed to give them was to ask them to stop kissing for a minute so I could get them to look at me. It was ridiculously adorable. We had a gorgeous and perfect day to work with, and a super fun wedding party. All those elements create a wedding photographers DREAM. The couple has a 6 month old daughter, Sophia, who is (not surprisingly) beautiful. She even had a sparkly pacifier to match her ensemble. Sophia was pushed down the aisle in a carriage, toting a sign that said “Daddy, here comes your bride,” to Jake’s surprise. And then when Sarah walked in, Jake’s face went from pride in his daughter to awe in his beautiful bride. What a joy it was to be up front and see his reaction to Sarah! The whole place was in tears throughout the service, especially during the family prayer time. I think I may have welled up a bit. Guess we’ll never know. 🙂 I just want to follow Jake & Sarah around with my camera, but in a non-stalker kind of way. Think of it as a personal family photographer/life documenter. Yes, let’s make that a thing 🙂
There are so many great things I could say about this wedding and how much these two love each other, but I think you’ll get that just by looking at the pictures. Not surprisingly, I had a super hard time narrowing down favorites, and believe it or not, I didn’t include all the wedding photos in this blog post. There were plenty more that I loved, but I have to cut it off somewhere!
You can see more in their slideshow HERE.
HUGE thanks to Emily Price for rockin’ out another wedding with me! Don’t know what I’d do without ya, girl!
Sarah was ridiculously adorable and giddy!
Those blue eyes….I promise, no photoshop was done to the coloring of them! That is au natural!!
Would you want to stop photographing them? I think not.
The couples’ parents surprised Sarah & Jake by putting framed wedding pictures of each of the parents and grandparents on the head table. Amazingly, all the grandparents were there and all have been married for many many years. Quite a legacy in these two families!! This is so so rare to see.
Carousel? Don’t mind if we do!!
The guests got to watch a fireworks show over Coney Island! All the wonderful vendors who helped make their day spectacular….
helluva wedding! all of it. perfection. so so good.
