PAISLEY {one year} // Cincinnati, OH portrait photographer

This little red-head has almost too much cuteness to handle!!  I cannot believe it’s been a year since I shot her newborn pictures!  Where does the time go? Like typical one-year olds, Paisley had just way too many better things to do than sit and pose for pictures. Man, did she make me work for a smile! She was ready to move and venture all around, with mom or dad to help her as she wandered.  Once we let her do what she wanted, that gorgeous smile appeared and just melted your heart.  But even without a smile, those gorgeous blue eyes will still suck you in.  And what one-year shoot isn’t complete without a cake smashing?  This dainty little girl decided to eat her cake like a lady, but still cute nonetheless. 🙂  Brian and Mandy are also expecting baby girl #2 soon, so we decided to give our little model a break to focus on the new baby.

We did this session at my parents’ house, which meant my family was inside the house.  At one point, to try to beckon a smile out of Paisley, I brought Luke out to join us.  I definitely experienced a first for me – photographing a family with Luke on my hip!  He wasn’t so happy when I had to send him back inside to finish up the shoot.  Parenting fail.
