ANDY + KELLY {engaged!}

What a privilege it was getting an email from Kelly telling me she was engaged and wanting me to shoot her wedding! I first met Kelly when she was a bridesmaid in a wedding I shot back in 2007, and since then, I’ve seen her pretty face at many other weddings I’ve photographed!  Now, it’s her turn, and I cannot be more thrilled.  And now after meeting Andy, I know their wedding is going to be a blast!  Also, I’m going to know half the guest list because I’ve photographed their weddings before.  It’s going to be a walk-down-memory-lane with so many familiar faces who helped make me the photographer I am today!! What fun!!  Kelly had this great idea of shooting by the LOVE sign in Reading, and I was all about it.  Unfortunately, it’s next to a parking lot, and some parked cars obviously did not know we needed the space, so movement around the wall was a bit limited, but we accomplished our goal.  Then we headed downtown to Smale Park, which was a new experience for me.  Man, downtown Cincinnati has really changed in just the last few years!! Being in Louisville now makes me feel so disconnected from the city, but it was great to be back and see all that’s happening there.  Apparently a ferris wheel is going in as well. Umm, yeah, amazing.

Anywho, this gorgeous evening was perfect for this couple and I really enjoyed getting to know both Andy and Kelly and am stoked for their wedding next spring!!!
