BABY MIA {newborn mini-session}

No words.  I have no words to describe how much I love this family and this little girl.

But, since this is a blog, I guess I’ll say some words.  You may have seen me post many times about this family in the past, Emily being my oldest friend, yadda yadda.  But what is sooo special about this latest shoot is they just welcomed their fourth baby, the first GIRL, into the family.  Now, don’t get me wrong, EVERY CHILD IS A BLESSING.  Every single one of those boys was a wonderful gift to Emily and Michael.  Just after 3 boys, there is something exciting about adding a girl to the family.  This means more pink, more princesses, more tea parties, and (unfortunately) more drama.  But having both boys and girls is a wonderful thing to see how God has designed us all so differently, with our unique gifts, desires, personalities, etc.  Now Emily has someone she can go with to get pedicures, dress in frilly dresses, and impart all the wisdom she has learned on becoming a Proverbs 31 woman.  Now, with three older brothers, there’s no doubt this girl is going to be the most protected and toughest little girl around!!

I was thrilled I was able to have some time after my mini-shoots in Cincinnati to swing by their home to take a few pics of this less-than-one-week old Mia.  She is such a tiny and beautiful peanut!! I made her a headband, which pretty much swallowed her head.  Oh well, I guess she’ll grow into it 🙂 We were losing light fast too, so good thing this was a mini-session!!

Side note: While I was editing, Emma walked in and said “That’s JT!!”  And when I was at the Munoz home, JT asked where Emma was.  This is a romance friendship that has been budding for years.  Future wedding? I certainly hope so. 

Ugh, stop it boys.  You’re killing me here.

Seriously, Caleb.  I could just eat you right up.
