LINDSEY + PATRICK {married!} // Louisville Wedding Photography

I get fooled every year thinking that once March has rolled around, spring has finally arrived.  The week of Lindsey & Patrick’s wedding, we had some of the most snow we got all winter!  Thankfully, by Saturday, the temperature had raised enough that we could stand to be outside and the snow was starting to melt a bit!  Of course, I was excited by the notion to photograph in snow, but it was the sloppy wet kind, no snow that I would expect any bridal party to have to step foot in.  Except they did.  When I offered up the idea of taking a picture in the snow, the girls hesitantly said yes, threw off their shoes, put off their flip flops, and trekked out into the snow.  I could not be more proud!!  When I told Lindsey they did not have to, she said “You must think it’s worth it, otherwise you wouldn’t ask!”  She was absolutely right, and I really hope the couple photos in the snow were worth it! 🙂  It created a good laugh, and hopefully good memory for those girls (and some super cold feet).

Lindsey and Patrick are such a gorgeous couple, inside and out.  They both looked so stunning and regal, and I really couldn’t stop photographing the back of her dress!!  This wedding was so elegantly done and a joy to be a witness to.  We started out in NuLu to get some pictures before we headed to our venue, The Olmsted.  The Olmsted was a beautiful place to photograph – that was my first time there! I look forward to more weddings at this sight! Lindsey is a connection to weddings I’ve shot in Cincinnati, so when she contacted me about shooting her wedding in Louisville, well that just seemed to be fate 🙂

Thank you, Lindsey & Patrick, for allowing me to be a part of your spectacular day!  I hope you cherish these photos for years to come! And a big thanks to Tamela Tripplett for her awesome work and helping me out!!

So regal, so timeless these two are.

I am seriously a fan of the black bow tie look.  Looks so Downton Abbey.

I adore the green dresses! It’s not a color I see often, and I just couldn’t get over how perfect it looked at this wedding!

The amazing bridesmaids.  I had about a minute to get the shot so they all wouldn’t die.  I’m quite happy with the result.

Lindsey’s dad gave one of the longest, yet best, dad speech’s I’ve ever heard!

Seriously…her dress.

Vendor info coming soon!!
