I can’t remember a season of life that felt more hectic than this one. Yes, we’ve gone through many changes over the years, usually the biggest ones were having babies, but at least when I have a baby, I think to slow down. Somehow the thought of slowing down didn’t cross my mind this year when we moved this summer….during my busiest season of work….when the school year was starting up…..when I decided to HOMESCHOOL for the first time (yikes!). While I have been working my tail off to make sure none of my clients suffer from this crazy season (I am so sorry if you have, clients!!), one thing I have for sure put off was blogging about all my sessions!! I have a line of blog posts waiting to go up, so you’ll be seeing a lot soon, plus more to come as I finish up other sessions. Trust me, I am NOT complaining. I am so incredibly thankful for this busy season. The Lord has blessed me with a flourishing business and beautiful, gracious clients. He’s given us a beautiful home in Cincinnati, close to family and friends, in which I am obsessed with getting it decorated (ok, not obsessed, but I am having lots of fun with it!). And on top of that, I feel it a privilege (ok, maybe not EVERY day it feels that way) to be able to homeschool my children this year. We decided to try out homeschooling this year (Seth in 1st grade and Emma in Kindergarten) about a week before we moved (I have no idea what I must have been smoking). So far, we’re all still alive and they are learning something, I think. I consider that a success! 🙂
So, all this to say, thank you to all my clients for showing me patience and grace if I don’t respond to your email instantly, or if your session doesn’t grace the blog right away, or if your images take a few extra days to get back to you. Life will come back to normal….or so I hope and pray!!
