ADAM + ANNA | Married

Anna and Adam were married last month in a simple, yet beautiful ceremony at Covenant First Presbyterian Church in downtown Cincinnati, with a reception following at the 21c Hotel.  I first met Anna years ago, when I photographed her first wedding to John, who sadly passed a couple years ago.  Since we met, I have been photographing their family, when they had two precious boys.  My heart broke to hear the news of John’s passing, but with strength and grace, Anna carried on.  So needless to say, I was absolutely thrilled when she contacted me to photograph her upcoming wedding, to a pastor (points for him!  I’m married to a pastor, so I can say that), who she had met and fallen for.  I didn’t get a chance to meet Adam until the day of the wedding, but I knew if Anna had chosen him, I would love him instantly.  Seeing them together on the wedding day was such joy, so see Anna so happy after such sadness.  And to see Adam with her boys….you just can’t ask for anything better.

They just wanted a few photographs from the day, but I just couldn’t stop shooting them.  Anna is one of my absolute favorite people to photograph because the camera absolutely loves her.  She is so gorgeous and has just a kind and sweet spirit.  And Adam is totally the same way.  I am so honored she chose me to photograph her wedding, again, and cannot wait to see the beginnings of this new beautiful family!
