Quarantine Porch Portraits

What a ride this has been.  Question is, will this ride ever end and can someone please let us all off?!  Don’t get me wrong, there are parts of this that I’m loving.  I’m loving the slow pace of life and a clear schedule (although I could use a FEW things on my calendar, please).  I’m loving more family time.  So many things are hard about this, but we’ve been choosing to embrace what we can’t control and enjoy the parts that are a gift to us.  This is a time like no other.  So embrace it.

One way I wanted to embrace is was to join in on what photographers across the country are doing.  Have you seen the porch portraits?  I think this is a brilliant idea and a great way to capture this crazy season of life!  I cannot, and will not, take credit for this idea, but I for sure wanted to jump on that bandwagon!  I contacted all my neighbors and told them I’d be coming around with my camera 🙂  Some neighbors obliged and even leaned into even more.  What a fun evening this was!!
