MADDIE + JADE | Getting married!!

I knew this day would come eventually, but I can’t believe it’s finally here.  My niece is getting married.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m over the moon about it.  Just feels so surreal!!  And I had the rare opportunity/privilege to get to do their engagement photos. Rare because Maddie and her beau live in Canada and we only get to see her once a year!! And we all got to meet Jade the very day we did these photos.  “Hey Jade! Nice to meet you!! Now stand and smile and be romantic with my niece, k?”  Sorry, Jade – getting in front of a camera is not the best way to meet someone.  But Jade handled it like a champ and I have to say, there was no better way for me to get to know Jade than to witness his love for Maddie instantly.  I cannot wait for these two to be married this summer, even though we may have to miss out because of the stinkin’ COVID-19.
