JORDAN + DEREK | Maternity

There are some maternity sessions that hit you more than others.  This was one of them.  I’ve known them both since they were little (Jordan since birth!!), photographed their wedding, now this.  Their journey to get to this point has been a long and painful one, with infertility, miscarriage, and many long months of waiting.  But now, there is joy, joy in the morning, as they wait to meet their new son.  I’ve watched as they have patiently waited for this day to come, and now I am humbled to take part, even in a small way, in their story by giving them photographs to remember God’s faithfulness to them.  They both just glowed at this session and I cannot wait to meet their baby boy!!
