We’re growing!!

I’m excited to finally announce some life-changing news to our family: we’re having another baby!! I’m currently only a few days shy of 15 weeks and feeling great (now).  Seth & Emma Jo are thrilled for their new baby brother/sister, and well, Luke is just being Luke 🙂  We’ve been getting a lot of questions about this pregnancy, so I thought I’d preempt some of those questions by answering them here….

-I’m due Jan 1st (obviously, the photo kind of gave that away)

-Seth will be 5, Emma Jo almost 4, and Luke 17 months

-We are NOT going to find out what we are having (we were also surprised with Emma)

-Yes, we do know what causes it.

-No, we’re not Catholic 🙂  But we do see many children as a blessing! (Yes – I get this question a lot!)

-We are not trying to be the Duggars (only 15 more kids to go!!) 🙂

-Yes I know college is expensive, but in a cost/benefit analysis, I think the benefits far outweigh the costs. 🙂

-You can think we’re crazy (we certainly do!), but we lovingly and joyfully accept our craziness as a blessing from the Lord!!

-Yes, our hands are certainly full, but full of joy.

-This makes grandchild #13 for my parents and #10 for Matthew’s!

We are beyond thrilled for our newest addition and can’t wait to know him/her as a part of our family!!
