CLINT + EMILY {a portrait session}

So if I’ve photographed your wedding in the last couple years, more than likely, you’ll recognize this face. Emily is my predominant second shooter on weddings, and I couldn’t do these jobs without her! She’s also the eye behind photographe, a senior portrait studio. I was totally honored when she wanted me to do portraits for her and her husband, Clint. Not only does it mean a lot that she appreciates my work enough to have me photograph her, but I just knew she would be a dream client. A beautiful couple, a beautiful location (yes, in Louisville!), and someone who understands what goes on behind the camera so they can perform in front of it – swoon! I even snuck in a few head shots for Emily for her biz.

We started out on the farm, and ended up in a hippie part of town, where we were able to get Trotter out for a few pictures. I know what you’re thinking – a farm seems like the logical choice to take pictures of a dog! But, no dogs allowed on this farm. I’m so thankful that we were able to photograph Trotter, because sadly, shortly after the session, he had to be put down because of a debilitating injury. I’m so thankful that Clint and Emily will now have these pictures to remember their puppy by!

Clint and Emily – thank you for giving me the pleasure of photographing you guys!! I, once again, have way too many favorites and many more have been sadly neglected because I can’t include all 200+ from the session on here. *Sigh.
